Instytut Zamówień Publicznych Wicik, Wiśniewski Sp. z o. o. [Wicik, Wiśniewski Public Contracts Institute Ltd.] is a project of a group of lawyers, economists and practical public procurement specialists. Founders of Instytut Zamówień Publicznych [the Institute] include co-authors of the Public Contracts Law which has been in force since 2nd March 2004. The objective of Instytut Zamówień Publicznych [the Institute] is to create a new quality in the domain of public contracts and in particular in the field of consulting and training services. Instytut Zamówień Publicznych [the Institute] operates in the following areas: Consulting providing advice, opinions, consultations, preparation as well as formal, legal and substantial evaluation of documents including specification of significant conditions of public contracts and regulations, preparation and evaluation of protests, appeals and complaints, representation in front of the Team of Arbitrators, as well as preparation and conducting proceedings for awarding public contracts. Training organisation and carrying out training, including specialist training - sector contracts, electronic bidding, construction works contracts, organisation and carrying out workshops and seminars. Education analysis of public contract systems, and in particular of the Polish, German and other EU member states' systems, legal analysis of the European Union including judgements of the European Court of Justice, organisation and carrying out educational seminars and conferences; on the basis of carried out analyses and research, development of proposals concerning amendments in the public contract system, exchange of experience with Polish and foreign centres dealing with public contract issues.
